This session provides a comfortable, supportive environment for new moms to regain strength and tone muscle, relieve stress and tension from the most common “new baby trouble spots”, the neck, shoulders and upper back, and work on stabilizing the abdominal wall, lower back, and pelvis after pregnancy and childbirth.

While you practicing yoga feeding, diaper changing, crying babies, sleeping babies, playful babies are all welcome during our time together.

Mother will be given cards with poses that will benefit her specifically, with carefully laid out explanations.

Daniele Strawmyre is a professional choreographer, dancer and movement educator of over 25 years, with a focus on prenatal and postpartum health for the last 5 years. Originally from Philadelphia where she was the director of ready Set GO, performing locally and internationally, and teaching various forms of fitness and Somatics. She earned a degree in Dance and Choreography from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.

Due to her experience in dance and other related forms of movement and Somatics, her teaching style is innovative and creative. Through her experience with various dance related injuries, her empathic and healing teaching has won over many, what she affectionately calls, “yoga tentative” students.
